Our work in science emphasises the skills of observation, discussion and prediction. Science is approached mainly through topic work. All Children are given opportunities to set up tests, explore objects and the environment, ask answer questions.

The children will learn about themselves and keeping healthy. They will study such topics as plants and seeds, light and dark, rocks and soils and materials and their properties.

The children develop inquisitive minds, questioning skills and an understanding of their work. Most importantly though, they develop an interest in science which will lead to further study as they grow.
