School Organisation
Jubilee accepts children from between 3 to 11 years old. Being a primary school, it is divided into what are known as KEY STAGES of learning.
The Foundation Stage :3 to 5 year olds- the Nursery and Reception Classes
Key Stage 1 :6 to 7 year olds - known as Year 1 and Year 2
Key Stage 2 :8 to 11 year olds - known as Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

Planning

Each Stage of your child's development and education is carefully planned for by following the National Curriculum.

For the Foundation Stage, the school focuses on six areas of learning covering children's physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.

These are:
Personal, social and emotional development
Communication, language and literacy
Mathematical development
Knowledge and understanding
Physical development
Creative development

The Curriculum

At Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, the children follow programmes of study from the National Curriculum, which covers the subjects of English, Maths, Science, ICT, Technology, Art, History, Geography, Music, PE along with Citizenship and RE.
