Our Commitment The following seven points represent our high aims for you and your child.

1. The maximum Opportunity to succeed
AT Jubilee, the atmosphere of the school is positive, stimulating, supportive and designed to encourage every child to succeed. The School works to ensure that children know they are valued and their achievements celebrated. By clear planning, good teaching techniques and regular assessment, every child is encouraged to learn , develop strengths and achieve their potential.

2. Purposeful and strong leadership
The Head Teacher provides clear leadership, which encourages motivation and commitment by the staff. Working closely with the Governors and their committees, the school's aims and targets are established and then communicated to the staff by the Head.

3. High quality teaching
The school is committed to the highest standards of teaching. At Jubilee, we recognise the vital importance of teachers and their role in educating our pupils. Our teachers' different skills are greatly valued and developed in order to encourage our children to strive for excellence.

4. Parental Involvement
Much of the success of Jubilee is due to the partnership between the school and our parents. We believe that parents and teachers, when working together, will achieve better results for the children. This is done through regular contact and consultations so that a full exchange of information is possible

5. Traditional Values
While the aim is for the highest standards in every subject taught, we believe that the ability to read, write and calculate are amongst the most important areas taught at the primary school. We also recognise the the development of each child's character and personality, as well as their spiritual and moral growth, must also be a priority for us.

6. A disciplined environment
Without effective discipline in the school, our aims would not be possible. We have a clear code of conduct, based on the belief that we must show courtesy and consideration to everyone at all times. The qualities represented by this code are a consistent measure of our expectationsfrom everyone at Jubilee, with the result that good behaviour and positive attitudes are expected, taught and achieved.

7.  A Broadly based curriculum
The School's curriculum policy is based on the National Curriculum. While each subject deserves its own place, there are also occasions where they are not isolated, but incorporated into a broadly based curriculum. In this way, learning becomes more meaningful and relevant. Additionally, certain lessons are focused on the teaching of skills such as spelling, handwriting and computing.
